Who pays the expenses of MMA Fighters?

I was wondering who pays for an MMA Fighter’s expenses like travel, lodging, food etc.(Expenses a fighter incurs when his fight is schelduled at an event) Does the promotion/organization they fight for cover them or is that something the fighter pays out of his own pocket?

I am sure it depends on the MMA fighter and the contract that they have signed with the UFC or K-1 or whoever. I am sure that the main events get their own chartered flights or first class tickets at the very least while the up-and-comers are probably paying out of pocket for everything.

Usually a great deal comes from their sponsors.
ex. Tapout, Warrior Wear, Xience, Affliction, etc.

    They pay themselves.

You pay yourself. That is why you want to win to get a win bonus. You also want good sponsers to off set the costs.
